About WAS 2027
Every two years, the global sexual health community comes together for the Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health: researchers, clinicians, educators, advocates, and policymakers sharing evidence, building partnerships, and translating knowledge into practice.
WAS 2027 is hosted by the African Institute for Sexual and Gender Health (AISGH), in collaboration with the Africa Centre for Inclusive Health Management at Stellenbosch University and in association with Sexual Health Africa (SHA). The Congress is led by Congress President Dr. Marlena du Toit and supported by the WAS Congress Committee, chaired by Dr. Armin Ariana.
